PASTOR BRAM
My full name is Bramdeo Ramgolam and I was born in Guyana (British Guyana not French Guiana). I grew up with a Hindu background and at the age of 10 my family moved to the island of Saint Lucia. In the summer of 1990 at the age of 10, I started going to a Catholic church. I was invited to Trinity Lutheran Church, in Castries, Saint Lucia in 1994 by a family from my home country that were Lutherans.
After graduating high school in Saint Lucia in 1998, I decided to attend to Luther Preparatory School, a high school, in Watertown, Wisconsin. Then in May of 1999, after one year at Luther Preparatory, I graduated from high school again. I was highly encouraged by the Luther Prep kids from Project Timothy that came down to Saint Lucia in the summer to help with Vacation Bible School.
I enrolled at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in August of 1999. After attending on a five-year track to become a pastor, I graduated in 2004. I then headed to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI right after graduation. I received my first call to become the Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Castries, Saint Lucia in 2008. In September of 2024, I accepted a call to Lord and Savior to become their Pastor and was installed on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Even though Lord and Savior is located in Illinois, I must confess I am a Packer fan.
