Mrs. SUZANNE HOGAN

Preschool Instructor | shogan@lordandsavior.org

Suzanne Hogan was born and raised in a small country town near Albany, NY. She is the middle of three children. Both of her parents are retired and actively volunteer in their church and community. Suzanne has degrees in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and a Masters in Special Education. It was while she was studying for her Masters in Massachusetts that she met her husband Sean. They will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this summer! Sean and Suzanne have been blessed with four children. Their oldest son and daughter are both business majors at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. Their younger daughter is a student at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI and their youngest son is a student here at Lord and Savior. Suzanne has always enjoyed working with children and even as a stay at home mother she found ways to always be involved with education, whether volunteering for Sunday School, VBS, in the classrooms, or working as a sub and even homeschooling. One thing Suzanne cherishes about children is how each one is so unique and different. She enjoys watching children grow in their knowledge and most especially in their faith and love for Jesus! Suzanne thinks childhood is a time to be treasured and feels blessed to be a part of watching the children of Lord and Savior blossom!

Ms. HANNAH HACKBARTH

5th-8th grades, Physical Education | hhackbarth@lordandsavior.org

Ms Hackbarth decided to attend Martin Luther College specifically for this purpose of sharing the gospel. She graduated from Martin Luther College in December of 2014, and after graduating, received an emergency call to serve as the 4-7 grade teacher at Our Savior in Wausau, Wisconsin, for a maternity leave position. Because this was a temporary call, she was put back on call list and in May of 2015 accepted the opportunity to serve in the gospel ministry at Lord and Savior. She states, "I pray that during our time together we may continually 'grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever!'" (2 Peter 3:18)
